Are Ak47 pistols legally pistols or rifles

Question: Hey

I was looking at the Horn Custom Rifles you guys had for sale on the site. About the "Pistol" version of the AK, the black tactical one in particular, what are the laws about the age to buy? I am 20 and live in Vermont. The law here states that you have to be 21 to buy a pistol of any kind. Would this apply with the AK pistols aswell?

Answer:  These are pistols so the same rules apply. It's pretty standard accross the country that you need to be 21 for a pistol. They are worth the wait.. We all had to do it. All I had to look forward to as a kid was the "new" Glocks, lol
